A Celebration of Japanese Culture

  • This FREE event DOES NOT REQUIRE registration, but if you want to let us know you are coming, feel free to give us your information so we can send you future event announcements.
The year 2017 is the 50th Anniversary of the Japan America Society of St. Louis and JAS will bring special performances, including 茶の湯Chanoyu (tea Ceremony), 生け花 Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), 三味線(Shamisen music), 着物ショーkimono show, 紙芝居 Kamishibai (Japanese Storytelling), 邦楽 (Japanese Traditional Music), 落語Rakugo, and禅 Zen. It also exhibits お雛様 Japanese dolls and more! Light refreshments will be served.

Admission is free.
