A Celebration of Japanese Culture at the Missouri History Museum

Saturday, May 17, 2015

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. JASSTL and JASWA shared Japanese culture at the Missouri History Museum with ikebana and tea ceremony demonstrations, kamishibai storytelling, kimono presentation, hina dolls and other cultural items displays. The audience was standing-room only at times and many attendees commented on how they enjoyed the interesting explanations during the demonstrations.
